Last post for today
This show was quite amazing. To begin with big up goes to Spi and Piotrek for organizing it. Again, many many people came but this time I focused on the bands. 4 played that evening, 3 of them I saw. We will start with the most eye-catching one because of the singer

And bonus picture As you can see the singer is a very, very beautiful girl in skinny snakeskin pants (if you can’t see… well, I did see so believe me, it was worth watching and listening first and foremost! ). You would imagine the crowds fighting to be as close as they can to see her. But the reality, to my amazement, was a bit different…

Let’s now leave the visual aspect of the band I really enjoyed their music. It’s a mix of electro, indie and probably something more. It’s not easy to tell exactly and that’s another thing, apart from from the gorgeous singer, which makes Rh+ worth listening to. And don’t forget to check their pics @ myspace! They probably have better photos of Kamila!

Moja Adrenalina

Another bonus picture As you can see above, the show was intense! People flying, band running around like crazy. Some of us were so full of energy and aggression that they even lost their shoe(s). Saw one of them flying towards the end of the club!

In Moja Adrenalina’s case I won’t even try to explain what kind of music they play. What I can tell you is that it’s really difficult to listen to them. And they sing in Polish what some of you, my potential foreign readers, might find impossible to overcome. But hey! I listen to French bands even though I don’t understand a word from what they say and at the same time I really like it! Maybe you should try too?
There were two other bands. Bullshit Baby which I didn’t like at all, and The Bartenders who I didn’t see. As for Bullshit Baby, during creating this post I’ve decided I won’t post their pics. Why? Because I didn’t like them (both pics and the band). As for The Bartenders… Well, answer yourselves I have to go to bad now, so good night and see you around!

09.12.04 Warsaw PL, Progresja: The Pikeys

And here we go and continue with my lack of… well, I’m not sure how to call it. At some time I even considered selling my camera, so it must be connected with having fun with taking photos.
The band is called The Pikeys and the gentleman in the hat is Tomasz with whom I used to work. We had many nice chats regarding music, women, life and so on so from here I would like to say ‘hello’ if you’re reading this by any chance And just to add, I find these shots poor. Really. I have no idea why. Don’t ask.

The show… well there were different bands playing. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to stay and see them. Overall impression was that this show remined me of my time being a metalhead I’m happy that it’s over

Hello again after a longer break.
It’s been a while, all because I have a lot of things to do which keep me from dealing with photos (apart from the ones you are about to see I have about 4 more concerts waiting to be checked). Finally I managed to sit down and see some of them. First band is has been here like I dunno… Many times, too many and that’s why this is the last time I’m showing their pics here.

The show was fun Mostly because of many, many familiar faces. Probably that’s why at some point I gave up doing pictures and went to talk to my friends. You may find it strange for a person who goes to shows to make some photos, but just to explain myself (if you really care/want to know) we don’t see each other too often and that’s why it happened But enough of talking! I proudly give TFN and Pg. Lost!

09.10.26 Warszawa PL, Jadłodajnia Filozoficzna: Sands of Sedna, Keira is You, Jeniferever

Hi again.
As you can see I had a really busy weekend. First Mudhoney, now 3 other bands.

To begin with, the show was like a family meeting to me. I met so many people who I hadn’t seen for so long time and it was great pleasure to talk to them again. Hopefully it will be the same with Pg.Lost in the near future. Also I wanted to mention that the pictures which you are about to see were made in collaboration with Maja Ch. Even though it was her first time taking pictures she did really well and I am impressed with some of her shoots. The problem is I’m not sure which one from the published ones are hers so I’ll just stick to saying “thank you”

Sands of Sedna

These guys are made in at least half of ppl who play in Tides From Nebula. What makes them different is the vocals. They have a singer with them and IMO he’s really good at doing what he does. If you like post-rock you also like them. You just don’t know that yet.

Keira Is You

I’ll start with the end (and by that also with the last photo). It was probably the most dynamic part of their show when the singer jumped on the drum set and hit their drummer. Apart from that Keira Is You is rather… well, let’s say that their music is sad. Therefore no fun at all for me. Depressing, slow. Maybe even emo (don’t kill me for using this word!).

Jeniferever

What I liked most about Jeniferever’s show were the photos. The seem really magical to me, especially the colours. As for the music it wasn’t really my type. Nevertheless I really enjoyed their show but at some points I was almost falling asleep. Probably because it was like 1am and I was really tired after whole day of working. I’m not sure if I can compare them to any band I know so I think it’s worth checking them out for the sake of hearing something new.

Wilkommen.

This time some old school grunge. Mudhoney is a band from Seattle, Washington. And they play grunge. They’ve played it for the last 21 years and probably will for even more. And that’s basically all what you need to know about them.

Allright, small edit. My friend Luke says that I must mention one thing. So, especially for him Marc Arm, who is the vocals for Mudhoney, is being credited to be the first to use the term ‘grunge’ to describe this sort of music.

09.10.11 Katowice PL, Korba Club: Grave Maker, This Is Hell

Hi guys

This time pics only as it is quite late and I have to be at work at 6 o’clock which means I have only 6 hours of sleeping left! The concert was held in a really small club which made it quite intense Unfortunately we missed the first band but I will have the chance to see them again. Grave Maker and This Is Hell are great bands which give a lot of fun and energy on their concerts so be sure to see them if you have the chance!
And I said ‘No writing, need to sleep!’ Damn! I have to work on listening to what I say. Anyways, here are the pics (quite a lot of them in addition)

09.09.13 Warsaw PL, Wetlina: Right?, Dispel The Crowd, Hard Work, Delusion

Hello there and welcome back (of course assuming that you’ve been here before If not, be greeted anyway )
To begin with I was unable to see Right? because I was watching Jackie Brown. Very good movie so if you haven’t seen it treat is as your homework. Good for me that I’ve seen Right? before.

Dispel The Crowd

DTC play hardcore. And it’s like the tough one. Therefore they are not really my type but I like listening to them from time to time. Guys could move a bit more, so the pictures would be more dynamic, but at the same time it’s not a catwalk or smth so I have to be happy with what I have. Anyways you should definitely check them out if you’re into hc.

Hard Work

Again, a hardcore band, this time it’s Hard Work. I find it difficult to listen to such music on my mp3 player but it’s completely different on a concert. A lot of positive energy and nothing else I can really say.

Delusion

I haven’t heard Delusion before so to my happiness they were really good that evening. Their music was full of melodies sometimes reminding me of As I Lay Dying and to me it’s a positive reminder. So, I really liked their music. Their singer is a really vivid person dancing around the scene, jumping and basically having fun I guess. If I was to pick the band of the day it would be them so be sure to check them out.
And that’s it for now. As for future I’m planning to do some shots at Mudhoney and- if I’m lucky- at Manson’s concert. Until then see you around.

09.09.09 Warsaw PL, Progresja Club: Tides From Nebula, Caspian, God Is An Astronaut

Here it is, my very first fotopost on my new blog.
The concert was really good but at some point it became… well, boring. If you don’t love post-rock music you should really think whether you really want to go and listen to such music for 4 hours. Now I know that 4 hours is too much for me, even though I like such bands.

Tides From Nebula

This band really makes me shiver, in that positive way. Although their music is rather calm I really find it full of different emotions, from sadness to happiness. I really hoped they would play some new stuff but unfortunately they had some problems with equipment, therefore it was impossible to play new songs. If you haven’t heard them you should really consider it ad visit their myspace profile.

Caspian

Well, to be honest Caspian sounds really similar to TFN. Or TFN sounds like Caspian. Either way, great stuff! I really liked their set even though I haven’t heard them before. And I think it’s a great way to start listening to a band in general. The case was the same with Ignite.

God Is An Astronaut

GIAA’s concert was quite interesting. The first part was really boring, most of the songs sounded similar, but the last 2 with Route 666 were great. And these were the ones I really enjoyed. At this point I couldn’t take it anymore and when then appeared again to play some I’ve decided to go outside. Nevertheless I really liked them. Really.

New beginnings

There always comes a time, when we need to adapt to new things. Or to put it in a basic way: to change I’ve decided to change my blog (prev www.oriasfuck.ownlog.com ) and show it to some folks from abroad

So, there it is. It’s new, it’s fresh and it has no posts I’m still trying to figure it out how to make it look like a portfolio :> I know there are some themes which can help do it but since I’ve just started using WordPress I’m not sure how to do it. So for now it will stay this way I will also move all my photos from the previous blog to this one with texts translated into English so that everyone can read all the rubbish I create

Basically that’s it for now Hopefully someone will find interest in it Maybe you?
